Upload your Google Takeout location file and see your trip as it really happened — the forest service roads you actually drove, where you boondocked, and where you refueled across Canada.

Your Location File Never Leaves Your Browser Unfiltered

  • Your file is read and filtered on your device. Wi-Fi scans, cell-tower records, device IDs, and Google's inferred home/work labels are stripped before anything can be sent — they are never copied into the upload at all.
  • You pick the trip dates and region. Everything outside them is dropped on your device.
  • Before anything is sent, you see the exact data that would leave your browser — and nothing is sent until you press Confirm and Analyze.
  • Your stops are processed transiently to label them and are not stored on our servers.

Step 1 — Get Your File From Google Takeout

Export your data at takeout.google.com → deselect all → select Location History (Timeline) → export. Unzip it and look for Timeline.json (or Saved-places.json for your starred spots).
